Dr. Elder has been in practice with Asheville Orthopaedic Associates since 2002. He is originally from New Jersey and is married with two sons. A general orthopaedist concentrating in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery, Dr. Elder is one of the few surgeons in North Carolina performing hip arthroscopy. He also has a special interest in Ossatron (orthotripsy) treatments for heel and elbow pain.
