Dr. Dale Culpepper is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of sports injuries and musculoskeletal disorders of the upper and lower extremities. After graduating from Davidson College, he moved to Jackson, MS to attend medical school at the University of Mississippi. He also completed his orthopaedic residency at the University of Mississippi, then moved to Huntsville, AL and became a partner at SportsMED, where he practiced for twenty-seven years. In June of 2019, he and his wife, a retired school teacher, relocated to Montreat, NC to be closer to family. Dr. Culpepper brings nearly three decades of practice experience treating athletes and active people of all ages and skill levels, and offers nonsurgical, conservative and minimally invasive surgical procedures to return patients to a high functional level. In his free time, Dr. Culpepper enjoys spending time with his family and exploring western North Carolina.
