Dr. Jarrett joined Asheville Orthopaedic Associates in 2004. He is a native of Asheville and the son of Dr. David Jarrett, a well known and respected orthopedic surgeon who practiced in Asheville from 1973 to 1998. He is a general orthopaedist concentrating in the area of joint replacement and arthroscopic surgery.
Dr. Jarrett has been active with medical staff leadership at Mission Hospital since early in his career. He has served as the Orthopedic Service Line Leader and Vice Chief of Staff in the past, and is the current Chief of Staff for Mission Hospital. He also currently serves as the newly appointed Orthopedic Medical Director for all of Mission Health.
Dr. Jarrett enjoys being active. He and his family (wife and three boys) enjoy team sports, swimming, scouting, and multiple outdoor sports ranging from hiking to whitewater kayaking as well as golf and most recently, shooting sporting clays. His goal is to keep people doing the things that they enjoy for as long as possible.
Dr. Jarrett sees patients at our Biltmore Park and Clyde offices.
